Some things were perfect, some not so much. Wonderful host, Angela. Provided us passes to some local places, i.e. aquarium,which was very kind.
Pleasant garden area with tables. Very nice common areas in period decor. Lovely sitting areas in living room. Excellent location to ocean. Anytime coffee was very nice amenity. Use of refrigerator and microwave also atypical and pleasant surprise.

Our rooms had a terrific view of Lover’s point and the bay beyond. It was a treat to open our curtains in the morning and see it. When we were in our room, we often left our door open so we could enjoy the view and breezes.
The mattress on our bed was comfortable.

The Pacific Grove Inn is located conveniently close to restaurants and shopping. The facility is charming with a sitting room and dining space for the guests downstairs. The rooms are well appointed and clean. This is a great value for the price.
For travelers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms might be shared by other guests, and there's usually shared space with the host.
It was unusual as it was like a former apartment complex so we had the top floor rooms in a condo of 3 storeys. Large clean room, great large shower room, a couple of armchairs, balcony, separate small room with fridge, microwave. Quiet and great location a few min walk from Point Pinos - Pacific Coast, birdwatching, beach. Breakfast available. Avoids the traffic in Monterey with easy access back off the penninsula to the CA1.
The staff were wonderful. They were pleasant and helpful. The fire pit was also a nice addition to the end of our night. The location was fantastic! There was such an ease of access to the quaint downtown area and the local beaches. We also enjoyed how close we were to the Monarch Butterfly Sanctuary. It was quiet and very safe.
Great location, quaint historic inn, right across the street from the ocean. You can hear the ocean from the front porch. The breakfast was nice, and the breakfast room is brilliant - huge windows overlooking the ocean.

The breakfast was very good. There is a basic buffet; make-it -yourself waffles, always some kind of fresh fruit, cereal, home made muffins and pasties, etc. Excellent coffee. It was very nice having hot tubs! The beach is a short walk, and there are excellent walking paths in the sand dunes. The hotel is quiet and laid back. We appreciated the fridge and microwave. There is a Trader Joe's and other stores a 5 minute drive away. The hotel is close to the hubbub of downtown Monterrey but you would never know it!
It was a nice stay in a great location downtown Pacific Grove. Very surprised with the wine and cheese hour daily. The room was quiet and comfortable. Gosby house made us feel at home
