We really enjoyed staying at Waldo Emerson Inn.
Hosts, Amelia and Ron, were very welcoming and kind.
The room was so nice,with a very confortable bed. We enjoyed home- cooked breakfast and to borrow bikes to ride around that fantastic place.
West End Inn is located in Portland, 1 km from Victoria Mansion. Each room at this bed and breakfast is air conditioned and comes with a flat-screen TV with cable channels.

It was very homely, a beautiful stylish home, very cosy and the host Susanne was lovely, very friendly and offered us places to go and eat and also things to do.The breakfast in the morning was excellent, fresh and home cooked and we enjoyed chatting with the other guests.
For travellers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms may be shared by other guests, and there is often shared space with the host.
There no breakfast included, but the restaurant attached to the hotel was above expectations, lots of variety in the menu, quick service and awesome food. Love the location of the hotel and we stayed in the cottage “Captain’s Cottage “, which was very clean very spacious and quiet. The beach access was only 3-5 min walk wich was also one of the nicest beach I’ve seen.
The property is clean, comfortable, and near enough to amenities. We were a ten minute walk from the ocean. The neighborhood was very quiet at night (and during the day too!). The property has a good sized kitchen which is equipped with the basics. We found it had everything we needed.
Great location (5 minutes from the beach with free parking), bang for you buck. The room isn't spacious but definitely good enough for a couple. Clean, no frill, friendly staff.
Great location-pool heated, jacuzzi facing the ocean. Added feature, Pool hours great and it closes late in fall season.
I had a great experience. Nice quiet area. It would be nice if they had a small cafe for breakfast. Then it would be outstanding.
