For travelers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms might be shared by other guests, and there's usually shared space with the host.
Sherman Inn is a quaint, spacious redecorated school that hosts enormous bedrooms with carefully selected antiques and collectibles. The facilities were so quiet, that we did not hear the other guests. The hosts, Jim and Donna, were most welcoming and shared the histories of their lovely town. Excellent stay, just moments from the Canada/US border.
Don't be put off by the institutional exterior.
This former elementary school (yes, a whole school) has been converted into the most unusual B&B we have ever stayed in. The rooms are ENORMOUS and very well appointed. Each one is themed. There is a library, a massive play area if you have kids, and an excellent breakfast. All overseen with a warm welcome by hosts Donna and Jim.
This isn't just a B&B, it's a slice of history.

How does it work?
1
It starts with a booking
It starts with a booking

2
Followed by a trip

When guests stay at the property, they check out how quiet the room is, how friendly the staff is, and more.

And finally, a review
