Location was perfect, the staff was wonderful and extra helpful. The breakfast was delicious, wine at 4:00 pm was extra nice treat and the cookies on the door were delicious.

The hotel was very clean and well decorated. The staff was very kind and attentive. Our bed was extremely comfortable and the room itself was very nice. I wish we stayed longer! The hotel is very close to Cal Poly, and a very easy drive or cheap Lyft ride into downtown or beyond. They offer bikes for you to use (included in a flat rate of $16 that you can opt to pay when you check in that gets you parking on-site, morning coffee and pastries delivered to your room, use of the bikes, wifi, and use of an off-site gym). The morning coffee and pastries was a nice touch. There doesn't seem to be any place to eat or drink on the hotel premises, but this area of SLO has countless restaurants and a few breweries/cocktail bars within a few steps of the lobby so it is no issue.
For travelers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms might be shared by other guests, and there's usually shared space with the host.

Great location near the stunning coast, 20 minute walk to Pacific Grove restaurants, very close to the Sunset Drive entrance to the beautiful 17 mile drive. Pacific Grove is quieter than Monterey but you're still very close to Cannery Row etc. Whale watching from Moss Landing was amazing. The Inn had a pleasant, safe and friendly atmosphere. Good coffee and breakfast snacks.
Great location! 5 minute walk to shops & restaurants! You can see Morro Rock and hear the seals. Quaint beach area with sea otters, falcons, seals…so much fun!
Really nicely refurbished and modern room! The bed was so comfortable and we appreciated the thoughtful furnishing touches like the modern LED mirror and wall sockets that were USB friendly.

Morro Bay is not big, so just pick a place to stay. Sandpiper was cheap, quiet, right on main Street. It's exactly what you'd expect for a budget accomodation, maybe a little bit better.
Very friendly staff. Ample parking . Lift for easy access with cases . Clean, big rooms . Great location 2 mins from the front . Breakfast was simple and preordered the night before - a basic juice and scone/ cereal bar. Cloudy on the days we stayed here - would definitely recommend Dorn’s for an evening meal on the front and a trip to the cinema 10 minute walk up the road - loved the quaint auditorium with friendly staff . Great location to spot the seals and the many birds - petrol station not far too .
