For travelers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms might be shared by other guests, and there's usually shared space with the host.
The hotel building was really interesting and has been beautifully restored. It was nice to be able to look around the whole house. Pat was great host and really helpful. She went to lots of trouble to make the stay special - homemade cakes and cookies, hot and cold drinks available at all times, recommendations etc.
