We loved the location and the home was clean and nicely updated. We were greeted with a welcome envelope taped to the door with need-to-knows inside. The room was small but sufficient, and it was ready when we arrived. The continental breakfast was simple yet plentiful, and the fridge was well stocked with bottled water, juice, and soft drinks. Refreshments and wine were out each afternoon.

Breakfast was really good. It include scrambled eggs (real eggs, not powdered), sausage and bacon. You could also make your own fresh waffle. Also cereal, yogurt and coffee were available.
The bed and bedding were VERY comfortable! Loved the pillows!

The location was perfect and the property was lovely. This is NOT a cookie cutter property! Lots of charming details, and very tranquil. The elevated continental breakfast included pastries, fresh fruit, cereals, yogurts, and even hard boiled eggs. The koi pond and gazebo are so peaceful. Plus it’s great to be so close to downtown and the waterfront. Innkeeper Lee is very responsive, and has so much historical knowledge - it was a pleasure to talk with him.
For travelers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms might be shared by other guests, and there's usually shared space with the host.
This is absolutely the best bed and breakfast we have ever been to! The family who owns the Inn is amazing and we felt at home. We cannot wait to go back!!
We loved the friendly colorful beach themed decor. Everything was clean and comfy. Loved the upstairs room in the main house. We opened the windows and slept without the AC. Clint was very welcoming. He gave us great suggestions on things to do and places to dine. Very accommodating. This was a great location central to all the fun things to do. Our only suggestion would be to throw softener sheets in the dryer for the towels.
Cozy, comfortable, homey, Very Clean, Love all the colors, it was quiet, had everything we needed, nice bathroom (especially the shower), the ceiling fan was a GREAT addition.
Big beds! Confortable, lot of space for suitcases, calm during the night. Cheap for the place in Outer Banks! We appreciate to find so good places for cheap as young travellers.
