We did not had any problems finding the entrance but we were a bit lost once we arrived. But very quickly the owner showed up and from that point we just had a lovely experience! A very nice and kept cottage, we had a kitchen annex with everything you need, two king sized beds, a bathroom. Everything kept clean. Breakfast that helped us to get going throughout the day, and we could enjoy outside looking on a beautiful surroundings of trees, flowers ect. kept tidy by the owner. There was no problem even when we asked once to get the breakfast at a later our since we were out for the sunrise at Haleakala. I should not forget the evenings, because the property is placed a bit far from everything, this creates some beautiful stargazing moments, and we had every evening of our stay. We would love to comeback!
One thing, you do need a CAR, to comfortably go to dinner or just about anywhere, when thinking about reserving this piece of heaven.

Home cooking in the kitchen may be a challenge to those not experienced in adaptability. I used the large electric frying pan to cook as no hob. I like that. I cooked pancakes, sausages, eggs, steak, stir fry, and anything else that came to my mind but cakes didn't work. Restaurants in Paia OK but a little enterprise meant we booked for one eel and stayed three!

Great location, view in a private property. Ease of checkin . Room and facilities were great. Having access to beach hardware like chairs, floats, surf board etc was very helpful. Tamara and her family are great hosts.

For travellers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms may be shared by other guests, and there is often shared space with the host.
My favorite things about this B and B was the wealth of suggestions on nearby restaurants, and the Maui guidebook left in the bedroom. Our snorkeling trip was cancelled, and we found the perfect substitute activities because the guidebook was available.
I loved the super quiet location in a residential area. Just like my quiet home.
I loved the lights of the valley, and the view across to the volcanic mountain.
It was a treat to look through the skylights and see the stars at night.
Most beautiful house with a unique star-gazing experience from the loft! Steve and Diane couldn't be more charming and helpful!
