The breakfasts were very nice and good food was enhanced by all the guests sitting together at a big table, with the hosts joining us at times, talking about what we were doing in Houston and getting to know each other as fellow travellers. We also really appreciated that there is an additional kitchen in the house where guests can keep food and drink and cook or heat up food. It feels more like staying in someone's home than in a guest house and our hosts did everything they could to make our stay enjoyable. Fantastic location also - near the Menil Collection and Rice Village. Will definitely go back!

We loved the pool has a hot tub, but we didn't use it. Quiet neighborhood and great location for those who like oriental food. House was clean and spacious. We had some garden fence damage due to a hurricane that passed whilst we were at the property, but the owners got it fixed super-fast the very next day. We would stay again without a doubt if we ended up in Houston again.

I'm travelling to the US since 30 years and I stayed in cheap and expensive hotels but this is the first time that I stayed in a QUIET hotel! I really couldn't believe it!
Great location and price, not far from the Red Line and the city centre. The breakfast is basic but decent, there's a pool that's free to use and ample free parking.
I chose the hotel mainly because it offered great price in the city center, with walkable distance to Toyota Center. It's located in what seems to be a financial district so it's very quiet and the area seems to be super safe.
I had a pleasure to spend a couple of days in Deja Blue apt. It's a comfy and cosy place which has absolutely everything needed to spend good and blissful days in Houston. Situated in a quiet neighborhood close to the city center. Nearby the house one have a couple of convenience stores and stops of Metro transportation buses. Both thumbs up.
