Juneberry Lodge was one of the best accommodations during our entire Alaska roadtrip! Marcia and Mannfried are absolutely amazing hosts who gave us a lot of great tips for things to do around Homer (and they make the most amazing sourdough pancakes for breakfast). Our room was very clean and cozy, and we loved the garden view.

Our group of five was on a two-week visit to Alaska. We read a lot about Homer, the capital of Halibut, and were keen to visit the place even for one day. We visited Homer in peak season so there were not a lot of properties that could accommodate five of us at a reasonable price. We picked Homer Stay and Play and did not regret it.
The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. Each bedroom had its own bathroom. The views from the house were amazing, and the huge bonus was that in the morning we were greeted by a moose mum and her baby.
The hosts (Anna and her husband) were friendly and engaging. In the morning, they treated us to a delicious breakfast which we did not expect.

Eventually we got two rooms after complaining about being in a dark tiny room next to two large barking dogs. The rooms were bigger and brighter.
For travellers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms may be shared by other guests, and there is often shared space with the host.
Beautiful bed and breakfast full of treasures. Brigette and Willie were warm and funny. The garden is full of flowers, the view is amazing and it’s a twitchers delight!
The breakfast is tasty and hearty. The location looks out the over the bay with at least three glaciers in view. The owners are very friendly and knowledgeable. The location is quiet with a chance of moose.
The location was wonderful with views over the bay from the bedroom and the deck outside and being on a side road it was very quiet. The room was very comfortable and clean. Our host Lori was very friendly and gave us a lot of information on Homer and places to see and where to eat. Breakfast was very good - selection of fresh fruits, breads and cereal and you could cook your own hot breakfast if you wanted one.
I am rating just the “budget room for one”, not the rooms in new part of building with sea view. My room, clean, super bed sheets, comfy, parking lot view, but no problem with car noise at all. Location is great for beach walks. I would love to stay in the sea view luxury rooms, during cold rainy days, where i would just watch the beach from room… the part with budget room seems to be from 1957 if i am correct, in good shape.
Lori went out of her way for us. We arrived on Christmas day, she made sure everything was great for us even on a holiday. Lori and Mark were great hosts.
wonderful place to stay. Very great hosts. simply great choice to stay within area.Very clean and cozy room with amazing view for the Glaciers. Bathroom is shared but at very good standard. this place is much much nicer than pictures shows :)
