Glenn and Betsy are both AWESOME. Betsy was the perfect host, Everytime I encountered her she was pleasant and busy. Glenn was equally pleasant. My husband and I enjoyed our convos about Christ, as well as politics.

I absolutely loved our time here at a real B&B. It feels like what they used to be and should be but so hard to find these days.

The room was comfortable, the loungers by the lake was the perfect spot to relax with a book.

Excellent location and the breakfast was delicious. Everything was very clean, tidy and well thought out for our stay. Lila is a super host and nothing we encounter would deter us from staying here. Also she does not require 2 nights which was perfect as we could only get away for one!!!
For travellers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms may be shared by other guests, and there is often shared space with the host.
The young lady at the front desk was very polite, she seemed to be the only employee day and night. (Owner was out of town) She always had a smile and didn't seem put out having to reprogram the room keys that were demagnetized not once, but twice. (Our cell phones were blamed) The rooms had no carpet which made the floor look clean. The furniture was plain, cheap looking and damaged, but functional.
Breakfast was okay, but didn’t have that much choice. Very friendly staff at reception and the lady cleaning our room. Bed was awesome, very comfortable! Great location, only a few minutes from downtown Granbury on the 377.
The room overlooked the beautiful Lake Granbury. The historic house was immaculate and comfortably modern. The host breakfast was a gourmet’s delight. As it was our first time to stay in a B and B, we did not know what to expect. Our stay exceeded our expectations!
