The hosts Tammy and Ken Rose are absolutely lovely. They are warm, accommodating, and provided excellent conversation and customer service. The accomodations were simple and well maintained. The private spaces were extremely clean with extra touches (snacks, bottled water) supplied in each room. The breakfast, made to order by Tammy, was delicious and included excellent coffee and orange juice. We prepared for our wedding in their bed and breakfast and could not have been happier with our accommodations.

Beautiful and tranquil waterfront property… truly a slice of heaven! Debbie is such a warm and welcoming hostess… she provides both a delicious and very fulfilling breakfast, and also great conversation. My dog was welcomed as well. Julia was exceptional! The breakfast was very yummy. Having parking available behind the Inn was great. The location was PERFECT!
For travelers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms might be shared by other guests, and there's usually shared space with the host.
It was clean and quiet. Much better than a hotel plus we got the tub which I took advatage of bith nights we were there. Th breakfasts we had both days was excellent and super fresh.
We enjoyed the quietness of the place, cleanliness, comfort, friendliness of the hosts, and most of all the breakfasts, that were delicious and abundant. Our room--the Chesapeake Room-- was huge and the bathroom supported a 2-person jetted tub. The B&B is located in an area without street lights so our room was wonderfully dark and supported good sleep on a comfortable mattress. Also you could sit in the wonderful garden and see the stars at night, and cool breeze during the day.
We loved everything about our stay at the Yellow Rose. The room was exceptionally clean and the bed was comfortable. If you stay in the bigger room, you have an en-suite bathroom with large tub and bathrobes provided. The hosts were so sweet and accommodating. I can’t rave about the breakfast enough. my favorite was the Greek egg casserole. my husband loved the Dutch Baby. everything was delicious.
We will have to come again with our children and take a kayak tour with Ken. Highly recommended.
