great location, beautiful hall, beautiful rooms. Loved the rooftop view and vibes. The art collection on the walls makes you feel like you’re in a hip museum. Airy and spacious rooms. Also super close to the train station, it was easy to walk back there after checkout.

Very close to many good eateries, you could even walk to some. The breakfast scrambled eggs were really good. Despite being on a main road was very quiet.

The Oakhurst is a cute little boutique hotel on the edge of the UVA campus. While you can't walk to downtown, it's a great location for the campus. It's stylish and the beds are comfortable. Free chilled water bottles in the shared sitting area were a nice perk.
