From the moment we drove into the parking lot the Inn just felt like we had stepped into a Hallmark movie. The holiday decor is lovely, the staff warm and friendly, and Alison’s historical tour was so meaningful to a former AppState professor and family. There were even freshly baked chocolate peppermint cookies waiting for us. Our suite was roomy, clean, homey, and a great place to laugh and play games with our son and daughter-in-law. Breakfast in the morning was superb! The staff went above and beyond our entire stay. We left our coats in the suite closet and Alison took care of shipping them to us. Quality service such as this is hard to come by anymore - Thank you Lovell House ladies and Happy Holidays!

I loved the location of this hotel, the view was beautiful from dusk to dawn, you could see all the mountains from up top and it was really close to the Sugar Mountain Ski resort and the little village with all the gift shops and restaurants and bars.

It was beautiful. We stayed in the Penthouse. It was the entire second floor of the building in the picture. It was way more than I expected or to be. When we went to drop off our key the office was locked so we couldn't tell anyone a about how great our stay was. When I say key, I mean an actual key, not one of those cards.

We loved the property. We got a suite with private pool and jetted tub. Also loved the fireplace! It was perfect for my family of four. The breakfast was so good and filling. I’m so glad we stayed there.

For travelers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms might be shared by other guests, and there's usually shared space with the host.
Centrally located for us to walk to King St. (main shops and restaurants) and a short walk to the Boone Greenway. The place was nice and very quiet on the inside. Mostly clean. Convenient to the Blue Ridge Parkway and Blowing Rock. Recently remodeled so everything was new. I would stay there again but not on the 2nd floor.
Excellent breakfast and very friendly host at the breakfast making sure everyone was enjoying their meal. Nice room with bedroom separate from living area. Close to restaurants, stores and services.
The hotel was clean and very nice. Good parking and quiet. The front desk employees were friendly and helpful. They were knowledgeable about Boone and gave good suggestions for dinner. Really enjoyed the stay.
The house was impeccably clean and very quiet. What I loved most is when I got out of my car the first thing I heard was the creek. It was late when I arrived and I was a little uncertain about my check in but when I used the device to check in and asked a question the host answered me almost immediately! I would certainly stay here again.
