The room was very comfortable and the decorations were great. The interior is all period wallpaper, fixtures, etc. There are great places to eat within walking distance. The owners are very friendly and helpful. It was a great place to stay. Home cooked breakfast!

The continental breakfast was mediocre. The tables were dirty when I arrived and it appeared no one was checking on things once the food was put out.

For travelers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms might be shared by other guests, and there's usually shared space with the host.
Beautiful home and excellent hosts. John was full of helpful information, made sure we had everything we needed and was quite friendly. The breakfast was delicious. I would highly recommend this bed and breakfast.
John and Jeanette are great hosts who were extremely welcoming and obviously passionate about what they do. The room was spotless, spacious and comfortable and every detail has been considered. John was really helpful in making suggestions for day trips and places to eat and Jeanette's baking is amazing.
Breakfast was great: tailored to us. The location was perfect, right downtown so we could walk to restaurants, the Mineral and Gem Museum and shops, yet quiet (we were at the back of the house). Parking was off-street and convenient.
This Bed and Breakfast is amazing from the minute we walked through the door we were made to feel right at home. It is within walking distance to some great eating places with off street parking.
The breakfast was hot and freshly cooked. During the stay coffee/tea and home baking was available for us to enjoy.
Great location on Bethel's Main Street anf close to many restaurants, coffee shops, banks and a grocery store. We loved the parlor with its antique furniture. The owners made us feel like we were at home. John recommended a visit to the nearby Maine Mineral and Gem Museum, which I enjoyed.
