Great location in walking distance to Asbury Park. Hotel was flexible about allowing an early check in which was appreciated since late check in was too complicated. Nice clean place. Snacks and breakfast options were simple but adequate.

For travelers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms might be shared by other guests, and there's usually shared space with the host.
Belmar is a lovely quiet town and Saltwater Inn was perfectly situated to the beach and the restaurants. Wasn't expecting breakfast so was delighted in the morning when I found they had cereals, pastries and hot drinks on offer. The Inn has a covered porch which was delightful to sit under whilst having a few refreshments and a game of cards.
Joshua has a very pleasant manner and was on hand should we needed anything.
The room was very quaint and exceptionally clean. I loved that there was a retro little fridge in the room. Our view was outstanding! We enjoyed relaxing in the lobby area. The staff was lovely and very accommodating. The boardwalk is right across the street. Overall, a great value for the money and I would definitely return!
Saltwater Inn is a charming bed and breakfast located just a couple of blocks from the beach. Our room was comfortable and quiet. Beach decor throughout the house makes you feel welcome and relaxed. The onsite manager, Josh, is excellent and a huge asset to this property!
Breakfast was excellent: great food enjoyed on the porch. We found especially charming the owners’ grandkids who helped out in serving. We also loved the use of bikes, which were included in the stay. We did not take advantage of other included features, such as beach tags, towels, etc. The owners were friendly and helpful.
