We stayed one night for the opening of the Taitung balloon festival. It is about 15 minutes drive on scooter to Luye Highland so it’s very convenient. The place is very clean and neat. There is a wonderful smell of cypress wood in the bedrooms which is very relaxing. The environment around the B&B is serene and there is not much traffic or many people. It’s a great place to stay if you want to be away from the city and relax. They also provide tasty tea which you can brew.

We had a great stay at Wishingwell! The setting is gorgeous, with a beautiful garden and ocean views. The breakfast was great. We were there with our baby, and they provided a baby bath and a high chair for breakfast. In terms of staff, we mostly interacted with the owner's nephew who was very thoughtful and went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful.

The building of the hotel is beautiful and tastefully decorated, everything is clean and polished, the rooms are large, the beds are very comfortable, the furniture is stunning and the staff is extremely courteous and helpful. The breakfast is good, vegetable salad, strips of meat, an egg and fruit for dessert. Free snacks and drinks in the hotel, including in the rooms, the atmosphere is quiet and pleasant. We took one night and regretted not taking at least another night. In short, highly recommended.
