Wisdom Garden was the highlight of our 2 week trip through Taiwan.
Location and the house itself is superb. The moment you se foot in this beautiful house you feel at home and welcome. The interior of the house is very unique and artsy. You can definitely see that the owner has had a career as graphic designer.
The house in in the middle of nature and is surrounded by a beautifully maintained garden.
The family that owns and runs the place goes beyond everything to make you at ease and make sure to take care of you. Vickey and her mom are truly amazing. People you will not forget easily.
Room is great. Lots of space. The bed is a tiny bit small for two tall Dutch persons, but still slept like a rose.
Breakfast everyone morning is delicious, fresh and local. It differs every morning.
Last highlight of this stay but not the least, is the pet Duck that wonders around the facilities and gives a very homie and cute vibe during your stay.

Great little highlands hotel. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Hot springs water in our bathroom and a view looking out into dense bushland was quite exotic.
For travellers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms may be shared by other guests, and there is often shared space with the host.

Friendly hosts, spotlessly clean, quiet, easy to find and very close to a great restaurant. It was also easy to communicate with the hosts because they spoke English.
New, clean and modern room in a quiet residential area. Nice balcony. Comfortable mattress, fast and stable Wifi. Good and fast communication despite limited english, host waited already at the building for check-in. Dedicated parking across the street is a big plus.
The owner is very friendly and staff are attentive. The hotel is in a quiet location. There are hot spring rooms for everyone, our room also has its own hot springs tub. The view of hotel is great.
Some people might be put off by the Homestays’ location, please don’t be! You will miss out on one of the best experiences in Taiwan. Taxis are plentiful and are cheap, the host also kindly picked us up when we arrived and dropped us back when we left. This has it all, warmness of the hosts (who are absolutely amazing), the pets (including a duck!), the rooms and facilities, the amazing gardens, fabulous breakfasts, the location and things that you can’t even put a finger on. One very very enjoyable stay, wish we had longer!
