Communication via whatsaap days before my arrival was smooth. They were super kind and cheerful. The decor is exceptionally traditional and beautiful. It was clean and calm. A very rewarding experience I had here and am glad about the service and the smiling lady who was pampering us.

We had an amazing stay at Dar Jamila. It's right in the center of everything, yet it feels incredibly tranquil with its absolutely stunning view of the sea. The place itself is beautifully decorated—classy and ornate without being over the top. Our room was super comfy, with all the essentials like great AC, a mini-fridge, and a spacious balcony to enjoy the peaceful views. Plus, the water pressure was on point, which you don’t always get.
Brahim, the host, was super welcoming and even offered to do our laundry, which was a lifesaver. The breakfast spread was top-notch, loads of choices and all delicious. Easy parking too, which was super convenient. Overall, it's an excellent spot with great value. Highly recommend Dar Jamila if you’re looking for a place that combines the excitement of the city with a serene escape.

Absolutely stunning property close to the Mahdia medina. The main house is gorgeous, so is the lush garden. A quiet paradise in the middle of Mahdia. We stayed at a studio at the very end of the garden. Very comfortable and extremely clean. In-house staff were delightful and took good care of us. I would definitely recommend to international travellers who prefer a more local experience rather than a hotel stay.
Great stay at Maison Albatros. The host was very helpful even before my arrival sending me all the instructions on how to reach their house and him and his family made me feel welcome and at ease throughout my stay. The room was very big and comfortable and the view on the sea was great. The house is a great starting place to explore the charming little town.
Everything was perfect! Beautiful resort with great facilities, clean room with an amazing view, relaxing spa, easy access to private beach, super friendly and helpful staff, delicious food. Loads of people around advertising different excursions - there's something for everyone here. Although it was fully booked and busy throughout our stay, we didn't feel rushed/ushered along - we felt like welcome guests throughout. 10/10 recommend!

A quiet and beautiful place to relax and walk through the old town, the location is just perfect and it is also not far to the sea.
The rooms were very clean, cleaned daily and spacious.
Also the breakfast was really good.
The staff and owners give great tips on what to visit and are always helpful really friendly and open to questions.
I extended my stay there because I felt so comfortable.
