This hotel has a wonderful local vibe. It was easily our favorite hotel experience of our two week trip to Thailand. If you want a pool, exercise room, a tv with many channels, etc, this is not the place for you. But if you want a delightful, quiet, authentic experience with very accessible self-laundry, uncomplicated-and-tasty breakfast, nearby coffee shop … all at a great price … this is the place.

The staff were friendly and very helpful. Location was perfect for us, near to the public transportation, shopping areas and there was laundromat near the hotel. I like the dining area in which you can prepare some snack and tea for yourself anytime. Hotel also had a weighing scale to check your baggages, very helpful in making sure we were not over the limits.

Rooms are small but designed perfectly, i have had more expensive rooms and not have sofas and kitchenette in them and those rooms were about same size, just an amazing place to stay. Staff was excellent and hats off to PJ the Manager, they are always there to help if needed. Inner city, easy walk to 7/11 and short walk to market. A great experience for great rates, and i will stay again. I was very impressed with the rooms and service. Area is quiet.

The stay was cozy, clean, & good value. They also have communal kitchen, so it almost feel like home.
Location was great, away from hustling bustling area, but just a hop away to the central. BTS & bus stop just 200 meters from the stay. Very convenient! Nearby are convenience store, street foods, coffee shops, even the sky bar! :D
Very recommended & will stay here again in the future.
Guest who come with heavy luggage need to climb the stair as there's no elevator. But that's a brief workout, isn't that? :p

The breakfast was exceptionally good and turned out to be the best meal of my every day in Bangkok. Everyone in staff were kind, friendly and accommodating. Moss is an exceptional host, truly caring. He saw that our stay in Bangkok went smoothly. The location of the Unforgotten Band B was ideal for all we sought to experience. Highly recommend.

I loved my stay at Villa Mungkala! Great location in the heart of Bangkok, just a 15 min walk to the Grand Palace and other main attractions. The breakfast each day was delicious and I loved sitting in the breakfast area and chatting with the owner. I felt very safe as a sole female traveler, and would definitely stay here again!
For travelers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms might be shared by other guests, and there's usually shared space with the host.
Cute little room in a very good location just a 7 min walk to the Silom line so made it easy to get around Bangkok. The room itself is fairly basic but had character! Shared bathroom was not an issue as we were the only people on the floor so felt like a private bathroom. Good breakfast every morning and the young man who works there was so lovely, even bought us some pancakes from a nearby stall as we did not have time for breakfast on the morning of our flight out of Bangkok!

Felt like home, friendly welcoming staff,m who were always happy to help, comfortable rooms (we stayed in 2 rooms as we extended our stay and both were very comfy), great beds, great location on a quiet backstreet but right by Sathorn, close to public transport. Great breakfast every morning, option of Thai or western. We went for Thai which was always delicious.
