* very beautiful resort (palm trees, grass, hibiscus bushes) that is well-kept and cleaned every morning
* comfortable beach chairs, maybe 5-6 more chairs would help;
* there were almost no mosquitos!
* the beach is beautiful, the most beautiful on the whole island- I saw them all on this trip. No rocks, no shards, no trash, no dried leaves. Just really soft sand and mellow waves. All the other beach segments looked worse.
* the waiting staff Maem & Laem (?) were so genuine and friendly. Although neither spoke English well, they always understood what we wanted and our food always came out right.
* apropos food. the food is delicious and everybody finds something on the menu that makes them happy (can't speak on vegan or gluten-free here)
* Kim, the manager, was very attentive and made sure everything was in order.
* there is a really good massage team (with physiotherapeutic certification!) on site, although they are not officially affiliated with the hotel.
* as opposed to other reviews here on Booking, I did not find the rooms moldy or worn out. It looks like there have been some renovations though- part of the wallpaint in our room was missing. I consider renovations a plus. Yes, the hotel may have basic furniture etc, but you get what you pay for. Beds were super comfy and had mosquito nets.
* laundry service / motorbike rental / pier transfer is all taken care of if necessary

The little Rick hut we were staying in far exceeded our expectations. It was spacious, clean and well presented. The team were so helpful and looked after us really well. They picked us up and took us to the port which was a short drive away.

Easy to get to ( we travelled by ferry from phi phi , and then tuk tuk taxi from job jum pier ) Makee was quick to reply to any questions prior to arrival
Situated on the main road opposite the mosque the property was behind the ban ban restaurant- it felt part of the little village lining the road , a couple of shops , was interesting seeing folk going to and fro, The bungalows are in a nice garden . Across the road and opposite is a track - 10 minutes walk to the beach which is long and lovely , quiet - a couple of bars and restaurants to go to on the beach
Malee and her family were lovely kind hosts making you feel part of the family , we had a couple of very nice breakfasts and evening meals there ( pizza was delicious) and a lift to the boat when we left

My stay at Blue Sky was perfect and cheap for what I got. Good location to a beautiful and quiet beach. Restaurants nearby and shops. The owner was incredibly helpful with anything I needed and of course the room was clean with a mosquito net provided.

The island of is very nice, not very built up at all, but with lots of places to eat, and some beautiful beaches.
It is an authentic accommodation. Quiet, private and surrounded by the nature. Amazing views from the porch of the bungalow. Joyful crab watching during the evening and owners lovely dogs around who protect the property from strangers and monkeys. Food is exceptional and staff super caring.

If you like wild nature and wanna escape civilization, that's the place. No luxury yet everything comfortable. Traditional thai bungallow. Right from your terace you can watch see, jungle, a gang of monkeys in the wild (watch for your belongings) and a dog sized monitor coming by time by time. Few people, bungallows are close yet nicely isolated. Nice and cheap fishing arranged by the place owners. The owners are very helpfull.
Location is great if you are not bothered going out late in the evening as the access road is difficult.
Sea view or partial sea view is lovely.
The accommodation are simple but practical. Don't expect luxury, it's out in the wild, no AC, no hot water.
Beach is quiet, and easy to swim into.
The chef at the resort restaurant is talented, you will be disappointed if you eat somewhere else.
And finally the owners are lovely and friendly and can arrange about anything for you if necessary (birthday party, cocktails and cake)
