Without exaggerating staying at Baan Lek Villa was by far my best hospitality experience in 26 years coming back to Thailand. The super kind family who developed, own and run this place genuinely care about their guests. It truly felt like a home coming. I can’t recommend this place highly enough if it was just for the experience of genuine hospitality. But then there’s also the amazing architecture and design to consider! Which combines traditional craftsmanship with modern design in a super well done and high quality manner. Their coffeehouse attached serves delicious delights. The place is a historic site. The building and rooms have been renovated but still preserve the original atmosphere. The parking was convenient. The place is right in the middle of the old Chantaburi merchant road and only around 400 meters from the Catholic church of Virgin Mary. The breakfast was a set breakfast that I could choose from several choices. The room and the bed were excellent. The staff was very helpful and freiendly.

Everything was perfect. Our best stay in Chantaburi. The bungalow is new et fully furnished, electric kettle, microwave, bbq, dishes, bowls and cutlery. The bed and mattress is perfect, nothing compares to other resorts we went.
The owner is kind and helpful.
The place is quiet with lake and mountain view.
We planned to come again in March.

Great location right next to the river. The rooms overlooking the river are great. The garden was very peaceful and quiet and a nice way to start the day at breakfast. The staff arranged transport to Pattaya for me which helped a lot. Short walk to Robinsons and all the markets. Good seafood restaurant next door and a little coffee place with 3 cute girls down the road a bit
It was nice room for good price. One of the cheapest in the town so I did not expect luxury. It’s small private cabin with comfy bed, tv, fridge, AC, and sofa. More or less clean for first sign. Super nice staff.
Boutique style hotel. Nothing like hostel. I had a private room lovely retro/ vintage vibe. Very clean and comfortable. Cheap breakfast available. Friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommended.
