For travelers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms might be shared by other guests, and there's usually shared space with the host.
A gorgeous, modern and clean house with all the amenities.
Rita is a great host.
Answered promptly any questions, helped me get in contact with a great local guide,Joaquim,to show me around the island and was always available in case you needed anything.
I highly recommend Valdivia Homes for anyone traveling to Principe island.
This is a great little place. The room with private bathroom is good, the aircon is good, breakfast is very good, worth the price, Carlos is a very nice host who goes the extra mile to make your trip comfortable; organising boattrips, excursions on the island, airport transfer or even sometimes cooking a meal in the evening if he has the time. Highly recommended!
Great location! Great view!
Very comfortable little independent home with great access and privacy. The staff couldn't be friendlier. Highly recommend this location.
Carlos is a great host, he made us feel welcome and organized transport, activities and guides.
The hotel is good. The hotel is in a quiet location, but there are restaurants and stores nearby.
Homestay-feeling in the middle of the tiny capital; the hosts, Tozé and Kalila, were very welcoming and happy to help us make our stay on the island pleasant. We enjoyed the freshly renovated, spacious ensuite room with comfortable bed, pleasant temperature, and well equipped bathroom. Other than some barking dogs on the main street, it was quiet on the road outside despite its central location.
Carlos is a great host! He and his staff are always there to satisfy your requests, with a smile. Breakfast is very good, and dinner is special - we had three meals and each was unique, with local ingredients/recipes.
I am rating Sundy Praia and not Roça Sundy as we were offered an upgrade and stayed in the villas instead, which was a nice surprise.
All was beyond perfect, the villas in the jungle and their private beach were absolutely stunning!
Food was good too, place is calm and clean, and the staff, in particular the young men at the front desk will go the extra mile to make you feel home!
We had a clean room and especially liked the excellent breakfast. The host also rented us a jeep for two days, with which we could wonderfully discover the island.
This is a truly exceptonal property; a old colonial plantation located in a remote part of Principe. The overall theme is understated luxury (our room was truly exceptional), peace and quiet and friendly and attentive staff. There are also excursions available tp experience the natural wonder of the island. It was expensive, but for a special occasion, worth every penny
