The distance from the city felt just right. Far enough so it was nicely silent and mostly surrounded by beautiful nature (hills covered withtrees, or a lake is only a few minutes walking distance). And if you have a car (or probably even a bike), the city is also only 5 minutes away (around 5-6eur for a taxi service). Not sure about bike. Great, unless you want to be spending all your time in the city and don't care about privacy and silence much, in which case the distance may be annoying for you, especially if not having a car or a bike and paying 5-6eur each ride.

Nice room with good facilities. The bathroom was clean, everything was working. The breakfast was very varied and tasty. We had 24/7 access to the rooms even when the reception wasn't open via a code

Majority of staff was very friendly, helpful and accomodating. Great location in the city center, parking just few meters from the apartment, nice breakfast in the restaurant. Apartment was newly refurbished, nicely furnished, large and comfortable.
This accomodation is really nice, quiet and comfortable. It is in the city centre, but not at the main road (what is great, because the main road is extremely noisy thanks to cars).
Our room was cute, there is everything what you need for a short trip. Also bed was comfortable and if you want to have a breakfast "at home", you can easily prepare it, because there is the small kitchen directly in the room.
The owners are also very kind.
Nice people, great location with comfortable parking - in the evenings beeing surrounded just by silence and sounds of nature on one hand, on the other hand so close to the city center.
Upon arrival, someone could be confused by the road and the look of the building from the outside. But inside - just wow - Very well and nicely designed with genius loci of the history preserved ( I guess it used to be a school in the past).

The hotel is small but amazing. Great location in the town center. Room was clean, the place has beautifully arranged interior, cozy and elegant. The garden is also amazing with an old castle view. Although it's town center it was quiet and peaceful. The food (breakfast and dinner) at the restaurant was excellent. My experience with staff was great. They were caring, mindful and responsive to my needs. This all was a reason I decided to extend my stay at this property

The apartment is absolutely charming and we had a great time. We enjoyed our stay very much - especially playing the special edition of Monopoly, which we found absolutely hilarious. Great location, surprisingly quiet at night, just across the street from great coffee at Stará Tržnica.
Nice and rather cheap hotel located in the city centre of Banska Stiavnica. The maisonette was clean and rather spacious. Room could have been quiet but we had to sleep with window open because of the heat and bells from the nearby church rang all night every hour.

Very nice staff at the reception, unfortunately during the week service only until 7pm.
Restaurant as a part of the building, daily menu for better price during the week, only a la carte menu at weekends.
