We chose this B&B for its location-- we wanted to be as close as possible to stunning Savica Falls. We were able to walk from the B&B to the falls, across a beautiful trail and then up the side of the hill. So it was perfect in that way. We also liked the fantastic breakfast-- so much variety, so appealingly displayed, and so tasty. The room was beautifully clean with a balcony overlooking the grounds and Sava river. A heated bathroom floor helped us dry out after wet days of walking. Lots of interesting books to look at. And we liked the proprietor-- she gave us many insights to Slovenia and especially the Lake Bohinj area. She dried our wet clothes (it rained much of the time we were there!-- though that only made the waterfall better :>) and gave us travel advice. Our fellow guests were also interesting and kind.

The location is fantastic, immersing you in nature with great views, peace and quiet. The charming little house is well-equipped with everything you need. The host was exceptionally helpful.

Nice English & Slovene speaking owners who welcomed us with local yummies, fruit & super wine made in SLOVEnia. Well equipped kitchen. Spacious bathroom, bidet including. Relaxing swing at the balcony. We loved our stay there. Will go again with great pleasure.
Perfect stay for a family with an electric car. Great location, little private playground, extremely friendly welcome. Big recommendation if you’re interested in hiking to Tolmin Gorges!
Venturing into Slovenia for some road cycling for the first time we found the property to be perfect for our stay. Great location to do many sightseeing rides and walks. The apartment was very clean, quiet and new and a great base for the adventure activity we were doing in Slovenia.
Very helpful and pleasant host, recommended us nearby attractions and helped understand how to move around town. Apartments near the city center, not far from the bus station, yet the surroundings are quiet (apart from church bells :) )
A wonderful, perfectly clean, spacious apartment with a large terrace in a beautiful environment, which was very quiet and peaceful, but at the same time was within walking distance to the city center, numerous shops and all other necessities. The owners are unbeliavably pleasant people, for whom the human approach is obviously on the first place. During our stay, we experienced a crisis situation with a child's illness and they helped us incredibly.
Very friendly staff, good buffet breakfast, clean rooms with little/no noise and okay beds and AC. Huge bike storage and great location in the city centre of a Tolmin. The small town is a good starting point for heading into the mountains and this hotel is located in walking distance of a handful of restaurants, shops, bakery etc.
Silva is a great host. She had a lot of tips what to visit nearby. The breakfast was great ! The room had everything we needed. Guesthouse Silva is located in a quiet little village but only a few minutes drive from Tolmin.
