For travelers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms might be shared by other guests, and there's usually shared space with the host.
The traditional, old world feel and decor were charming. It was cosy and nicely kept. The location, right on the waterfront was idyllic (except when it wasn't...see below) The staff were absolutely lovely and accommodating when we had a major problem (again, see below) Breakfast was the traditional Scandi/ Northern European fare: delicious and plentiful. The upper floor rooms, where our daughter stayed were modern and new, still with the traditional charm.
The location of the Bed and Breakfast was absolutely sensational. Neither one of us was expecting such a beautiful locale with such fascinating history.
Fantastic location about 200m from the ferry terminal and right opposite the Coop! Quiet street, very bright and airy. It is beautifully refurbished, everything is new and clean and works well.

The apartment is at the back of the house but very private. It is very tastefully decorated and cosy. All the dishes are from Iittala and the kettle and toaster Smeg. A state of the art Nespresso coffee maker and milk frother were well used and highly appreciated. Coffee pods and the basic salt pepper and oil provider. Very convenient. Grocery-store and restaurants within walking distance. Washer/dryer available.
