For travellers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms may be shared by other guests, and there is often shared space with the host.
Charming hotel – interestingly decorated ground-floor rooms in the main house, comfortable lounge in the annex building, quietness (there were very few other guests when we stayed though), views over the Byälven river, easy parking, walking distance to town centre (approx. 25 mins), friendly manager.
Very calm and nice location. There were many different cabins, so depending on which you take the facilities might differ. We had a bit more expensive cabin with private bathroom and larger kitchen, which was very nice. Very quiet area. Rooms had electric heaters so it’s not cold nor moist. Were able to check in late and it was rather convinient. The property had free wifi.
The location of this wonderful place was very nice. Quite and with great outdoor space right by a beautiful river, but also very close to the city center. The house itself was a beautiful well kept old mansion with historical furniture and accessories giving the place the right "vibe" and honoring the place. The staff were very welcoming and made sure our stay was perfect, and the great breakfast overlooking the garden topped it all. We will come back again if the opportunity comes :-)
Our first stay in a herrgård. Excellent breakfast - choices were few but very good quality. Location was also nice - quiet and calm and surrounded by nature. Room spacious enough.
