I loved the location, great view of the church at the top of the road, centrally located for restaurants, shops, and the old town area (which is my favorite place to go for a walk! Henrik was the best, offered suggestions, super friendly!

Super cute place, the hosts were very nice and helpful, definitely staying here again
For travelers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms might be shared by other guests, and there's usually shared space with the host.
Perfectly located with a great view of Gripsholms Slott. Staff were fantastic and friendly. Our room was large and had everything you needed. Its got a period look and feel, which was charming, but the room had everything you would need from a modern hotel. Loved that it was a later checkout on Sunday, which meant we didn't have to rush.
So quiet.
Mariefred is a very nice little village and this hotel is in the middle of it. 5 minutes walk to the castle, 1 minute to a grocery store, book store etc and cafes.
The room was clean and cozy with windows that could be opened.
I took my morning smoke 50 steps away, on a bench looking out over the water and the castle, (attached pic)
That’s beautiful village. The hotel is very close to castle and city centre. The rooms are small but comfortable. That’s enough to sleep.
Very nice place.
