For travelers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms might be shared by other guests, and there's usually shared space with the host.
We had a very good experience. Booked it just before arriving for one night, but decided to stay another one, because it felt so cozy and relaxing. The place has suppressed us with its perfectly beautiful surroundings, very welcoming reception of the friendly owners, charming garden and its cleanliness. Was happy to wake up in the morning and hear the sounds of chickens, looking outside and seeing them and flowers under the window. What could be better!
A very pretty little house in a quiet area outside of the town, with an interesting Americana theme. Nice decking with outdoor chairs and well equipped kitchen. Owners were very friendly.
We were warmly greated by Stephanie on arrival. There was coffee and some sweets ready when we arrived in the afternoon after our long drive from Denmark. We had booked a night on our way to Sälen for skiing. We were very pleased with the stay. Very charming rooms with super comfortable bed which were nice and clean. Delicious dinner and breakfast - basic but very good. We would definitely book again!
Small basic hotel on Main Street in Kil. We had bicycles with us but were recommended to bring them into the hotel since it was not safe to leave them on the back of the car. Thankfully there was an elevator and our room was big enough that we could have them there and still have room for us. Plentiful continental breakfast. In the corridor there was also tea, coffee and you could even make a sandwich in the evening if you were feeling hungry. Easy walk to several restaurants since the hotel restaurant was not open except for breakfast. Quiet.
