What an amazing and extraordinary place to stay.
We had a stopover for one night and had an incredible time. The house, a carefully renovated old building, is full of charme and history. The rooms are furnished with old fashioned and well selected items.
The hosts are incredibly welcoming and warm-hearted.
The hand cooked dinner they served was of high quality and local ingredients. The dishes are fair to be called exceptional and we really had a great night.
The breakfast was also lovely. So it was a 10/10 experience.

For travellers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms may be shared by other guests, and there is often shared space with the host.
Hotel is same building with ice hall. In breakfast we watched ice hockey training. Quiet and cosy. Nice waking, cycling and rolling tracks are just from hotel to city centre. New hotel and very clean.
Excellent location, lovely easy walk to the city centre and 2min walk to a supermarket. Comfortable, clean, quiet and spacious apartment. Great kitchen. Excellent communication, host answered all our questions promptly. We stayed for a week and had everything we needed.
Great location on the river, and near the bus and train stations. Very clean, spacious, rooftop terrace good, excellent breakfast and wide variety, lovely reception and dining room staff, comfy beds, great shower. Would definitely come again.
The location was almost perfect: a five-minute-walk from the city center and yet very quiet. The landlady was very friendly and helpful. And in the backyard of the building there was a parking lot that we could use.
Great location. Clean. Cheaper than other (totally overpriced!) Karlstad hotels. The bathroom shower is a little strange (see photo), but it actually works fine.
