Lovely guesthouse in Torockó. Very friendly and helpful owners. The children loved the dog, they played a lot w it in the garden. Rooms are simple but clean. The common balcony overlooks Székelykő, the big mountain, and you can watch the famous sunrise from the guesthouse. I can also recommend the breakfast, very big and tasty portions.
The main square and the trail head to Székelykő is just a few 100 ms from the guesthouse.

The location is fantastic and perfect for a family vacation. It has everything you need on the spot for a good time: playground for small children in the front ( including ping-pong table, football space) and a court in the back where you can play basketball, tenis, voley, football. There are also hammoks where you can stay and relax. In the building there is a space created for children to play and have a good time. My 5 year old daughter was excited to be have so maaaaany options in term of toys to play with. 😁
The pool water was clean and it was the perfect temperature. I appreciated that the hosts made available so many accesories for children to play in the pool (inflatable balls, rolls, alligator, swim glasses, etc).
The breakfast was delicious and more than enough.
Also, even with many guests lodged there are so many places created for some quiet time.
By car, we were close by to salina Turda and Cheile Turzii (30-40 minutes).
Lastly, I would like to mention the hosts were very helpful and providing all the information and the help we needed.
We trully had a great time spent there and we will definetly come back!

Amazing property off the beaten path with great food, amazing sunset and sunrise views from the upper common platforms, very cozy rooms and amazing staff.
In hindsight we could have easily made it with our 2 wheel car, but we were afraid to try so a member of the staff was super kind to pick us up and return us to our car when needed. Also beautiful walks in the area. We will definitely be back for more nights.

Super nice host who served for us local breakfast!
Great location close to famous Rimetea village - the place where the sun rises twice, near the forest with great surroundings, vert quiet, fresh clean air. Very good breakfast for all tastes. Comfortable and very clean, very friendly owners, the property is a family business. Opposite of the hotel there is a monastery very nice and worth to be visited.
Very friendly owners, they were very kind to us and our dog. The house is comfortable and cozy, made with love. The village is quiet, very beautiful scenery and many hiking trails.
We spent really nice time at Casa Botar. Area where is located is really charming. Mountains view is amazing! The rooms were really cosy, well furnished with comfortable beds. The stuff was really pleasant.
We loved everything! The hosts are exceptional. We had the room close to the entrance and one room in the garden. Both great. All amenities. Quiet, garden well maintained.
