The host of the place is exceptionally good in communication; I've just finished booking, when my phone rang and got connected with him. He gave great advices on what to see, where to go -according to my preferences. The house is build on a wonderful spot; one can get one of the best view above the Iron Gate, on the island of Orsova; all this can be done even from a pool. Just to mention a tiny detail also; binoculars. Going up to the caffee-area, which is the highest point in the facility, you can find a binocular for looking around. Small detail, but it tells a lot. Definitely suggesting Casa Clau if you want the best stay in Orsova.

It was very clean, very good location, the room was spacious, the shower cabin was big as well, big and well equipped kitchen, garden and a tennis table.
Some rooms have view over Danube. There is parking area for 5 cars in the street. Everything is new, the furniture and kitchen equipment of good quality. There is a large garden with a table where you can take the meals. The host is very nice and friendly. Good internet.

This is a newly built hotel close to the Danube Lake. In a quiet area about 1km west of the city centre. The reception was very suitable. Easy to find.
The breakfast was excellent, as was the restaurant in the evening. It was great experience driving along the road stopping to admire the view by the Danube. Boats trips are available from Orsova.
Great apartment, there is everything you might need and even more, super comfy, aircon works well and quiet, great location, comfortable beds, the surrounding peace and quiet, strongly recommend the place! :)
The room was quiet and very comfy, the location is perfect as it is in the city centre and there is a shop closeby open until 11pm. Simona and Nelu are wonderful. They helped us a lot. I would like to come back for sure !
