Granados B&B is family owned and Ana Maria treats you like one of the family. She accomdates any arrival and check out times and breakfast preferences. The rooms are simple, but comfortable and spotlessly clean! The garden is beautiful. You can watch hummingbirds and butterflies as you sip your coffee. The house is in a very nice and safe neighborhood, not far from the airport and Shopping del Sol.

What’s not to like? It’s spotlessly clean, quiet, and comfortable, and located in a beautiful neighborhood of Asuncion. Staff is friendly and they give you a decent little continental breakfast with coffee. The small patio/pool area looks great but unfortunately the weather wasn’t that great when I stayed there so I never got a chance to use them. My room had a small fridge, which I always appreciate, a big comfortable chair in the corner, and a very nice bathroom that was bigger than many guesthouses I’ve stayed at in Asia.

This hotel was quite striking, situated in a section of Asuncion blanketed with businesses, restaurants, residential homes, hotels, and parks, a quiet atmosphere in this almost 500 year old city of 400,000+ inhabitants. The charm of the neighborhood is embraced within the walls of this compound, with decoration and design meant to bring peace and comfort to every guest.
Not a travelogue writer here, just a merchant mariner and part-time corporate pilot, observing how well the staff and facility present and provide an excellent environment for rest and relaxation to every guest that caught our eye. From elderly world travelers (such as ourselves) from all corners of the globe, to families with small children, to visiting corporate employees, to individual folks seeking residence cedulas in this peaceful country, you name it. It is a modern European version (keep reading) of the happenings represented in the movie "The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel", wrapped up in the history of this Paraguayan Capital City. No they don't do roll call every morning, but the morning time IS a celebration of the guests, coming together to "break the fast," and to revel and share in their plans for the new day. The manager of the hotel makes it her mission to come and happily greet every guest, ensuring they are comfortable, having everything they need during their stay. In the early evening, the guests come together to chat and tell of their day, before heading out to one of the largest and most excellent collection of world cuisine restaurants, all within the space of a few city blocks from the hotel. Uber is the transport of choice and very economical, as are most products and services close to the hotel.
All in all, you are in store for a treat at Posada del Cielo, a jewel in the crown of visitor accommodation for Asuncion, Paraguay. Enjoy!

This was my favorite place on the whole trip around South America. It's wonderfully decorated, homely, quiet and comfortable. They really looked after me and I felt at home. A little bit out of the city centre, but that's probably a good thing anyway! A mini market just across the street was really handy!

To stay with Gabriela was the best decision! She is very friendly, gave us lots of information about the city, organised cheap taxi, answered to WhatsApp questions in minutes. Her house is very good located, you can walk to park, mercado 4, historic centre easily. Supermarket is just around the corner, also lots of food options. Room with fan and aircon, kitchenette and private bathroom - all clean and shiny!!Would always come back!!
Great boutique hotel. Very nice interiors, everything is very classy. The staff is wonderful. First time arriving and it feels like home. Delicious restaurant, quite well equipped fitness, large and very nice rooms, great location between the old town and the new town where the shopping malls are.
The owners of this place are so lovely and helpful! You get your own little apartment for very cheap. Nice big beds, plenty of storage space, a private bathroom, and even a little kitchen corner with a sink and a camping hob to make some eggs or toast in the morning. Amazing location, in the middle of the historic centre which is pretty and calm.
The hotel was close to the city center (everything is at walking distance) but still far enough to be in a quiet neighbourhood. It was very clean. Large bed & spacious room. Fast internet and a good breakfast. With lots of nice plants in the hotel. And a good and warm shower. A nice stay after a day of walking in the city center.
