Fantastic place! The large territory of the old manor house has rooms and apartments for guests. The place itself is very well located - close to the town but away from any noise. It was hard to believe that all the city life is just by hand. We stayed in the apartment and when we arrived, the fireplace was already lighted for us. The apartment was awesome - large, beautifully furnished. In the morning we were offered a fresh bread, although we did not order breakfast.

Perfect location, amazing spaces, and accommodating host. Vila Real at Christmas time was lovely. The main square is close by and we were dazzled by the entertainment. Many excellent eateries are within an easy walk.

I liked cozy greetings, welcomed owners and theire cafe with excellent breakfast. Also view from the window and great location in the city center. Interior in the room was like in my grandma house or at the village, so it was comfy

Room was very private with its own verandah, comfy bed and lovely big bathroom. Swimming pool looked inviting, with plenty of sun beds available, though weather did not encourage us to use it. Quiet location, set in attractive gardens. Margarida and Nunno were very friendly and welcoming, and spoke good English. There was an excellent restaurant two minutes walk away that served good food at a reasonable cost. They also had a good wine cellar. Host was very helpful and spoke English. It meant we did not have to travel into city for food.
Away from the town so beautiful and quiet long tree lined drive well lit for return in the dark. Accommodation was in a word luxury! The owners are very friendly and speak good English which is helpful nothing too much trouble. Brilliant thanks so much
The hotel was in a quiet location. The views from our room were stunning even though is was raining!! It was in a great location for visiting the Douro River valley which is beautiful. The gentleman who greeting us was very friendly and helpful recommending a local restaurant which we went to which had great food. The room was very clean and comfortable.
It was the second time I stayed at Casa Agricola da Levada and it was just perfect. The estate is beautiful, really well kept, quiet and comfortable. We've stayed at the studio Casa Quadrada, that besides being beautiful and having everything you need, it also has a really nice private balcony.
The staff is simply the best! Really nice and helpful people, always extending what they have to offer.
We'll definitely go back.
Great location in the city center.
We arrived early so we got to the given address if we need to contact the owners. It was a café and we could communicate with this nice lady in poor spanish (mine). She contacted the owner and we got 2 beers on the house. The room was then ready in only 30 minutes.

There are restaurants and cafés nearby. A public parking garage was close by as well.
