The owners were brilliant. We arrived a little late but were there to greet us. Our request at breakfast was deal with and we had a brilliant stay. We even got to use the little kitchen to cook a couple of meals. It's a little walk from the town but in the lovely weather of the Algarve it's no problem at all. We have stayed in various places in Silves but can honestly say this is one of the most enjoyable. I'm sorry but I've forgotten the names of the two owners, but they were brilliant and so friendly.

The host lady was very kind. In the house everything was renovated. There was a living room with comfortable sofas and a well equipped kitchen. The location was also nice, not too far from the railway station and near to the city center, with beautiful panorama.

This is a gem of a hotel - staying there was a highlight of our trip to the Algarve. It is a family run property and everything about it is lovely - I could not recommend it more highly. The location is wonderful and everything is walkable from the hotel.

Accommodation, location, staff - all was excellent. Relaxing and enjoyable. We were travelling on public transport. Caught 94 bus from Portimao (river front) straight to Monchique - taxi straight to hotel. Beautiful countryside, views and walks. Great breakfast and ate evening meals in local restaurants. Snacks & drinks available at hotel. A gem of a place.
