This was a lovely place to stay, the room was amazing as was the pool and surrounding areas. Breakfast was very nice indeed and the staff were friendly. Room bigger than average and very well decorated.

The staff were very helpful and provided a locked garage for our motorcycle. Breakfast was very good with plenty of choice. The restaurant accross the road was closed at night during our visit but another small restaurant a short walk was open.

Quiet and peaceful location. Service was very friendly and the staff did everything to make sure we have a seamless and relaxing time. If we wanted a late lunch on the terrace, no problem. Dinner was excellent and a real treat.
Nice little gem where we were welcomed by Catia and André and where we felt like home. Check-in was seamless and contactless, clear instructions on how to enter the place. Our room had huge bay windows overlooking the mountains. Bed was really comfortable. Breakfast was complete - huge variety of food carefully prepared. Highly recommend if you are looking for great hosts and a quiet place to relax and enjoy lush views of the valley.
This was a marvellous place. We went with three kids aged 8-12, and that was good, yet the hotel does value peace and quiet and relaxation. We were warmly welcomed every day, had excellent dinners and food overall, and were happy with price-quality balance. The hotel is also in a great location for hikes and trips to the Serra da Estrela, and overall we had a really great time.
The place is located at the top of a charming and untouched medieval village. Water is flowing all through the village. There are hiking trails a step away and this is a great spot as a base for hiking. It's so quiet! The breakfast is rich and the dinner served at the restaurant is mostly excellent. Another bonus is that includes unlimited wine which is really kind. The massage service was also very good.
Extremely friendly staff, we felt at home in this beautiful casa. The property is massive and located in a very quiet area.
The breakfast was delicious, the house was warm (the chimney fire heated everything), the beds were very comfy.
Great location as well to leave from with a car to go explore the national park.
