An absolute gem in the Douro valley. The house is beautifully designed and decorated, with 3 rooms! Ours had such a stunning view of the Douro valley. The beds were perhaps the most comfortable we had during our 3 weeks in Portugal in over 10 places.
Although the pool is small, you can't beat the views and the amazing staff and hospitality.
I can recommend reserving in advance for dinner. It's worth it. Thank you for everything Marco, Tony and Ana!

We were very satisfied with this hotel. The surrounding area is stunning, breakfast has many healthy options, the town is quiet at night but we found two very tasty restaurants nearby. The house is spotless clean, Teresa is a very polite and helpful caretaker.

This was one of the most beautiful places we've ever stayed. The views, the room, the breakfast....amazing. Plus, the host could not have treated us better! He sat and shared a bottle of wine at sunset. The next day, our train travel was cancelled due to a strike and he drove us over an hour to the bus station. Unbelievable!
For travelers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms might be shared by other guests, and there's usually shared space with the host.
Great meet and greet. Rooms with excellent views across the Douro Valley . Only 3 rooms but provided excellent breakfast.not only that but provided a wonderful dinner for its guests.all round great hospitality.
We had a wonderful relaxing stay at Casa Do Arco. The views were magnificent! It was very hot for April and although the pool wasn't supposed to be open until the end of April, they had it open early. We had a fabulous dinner at their boutique restaurant. We felt they were wonderful and thought of everything! Just go and treat yourself to something special.
The food service is incredibly delicious. The staff is amazing. The house is perfect for a quiet, beautiful locale in a beautiful town in Douro. Nothing could possibly be better than this!

This hotel is the definition of a luxury boutique hotel. One of the most "instagramable" hotels in the whole region! The staff and setup makes you feel like you are the only guests staying there. Excellent food and wine. World class landscape views. Very clean linen and plenty of towels and amenities. Very attentive staff (the house manager put extra effort into making our stay very comfortable). It was a nice touch to be served by the owner during dinner, and the welcome drink was much appreciated
One of the best place i have stayed in all my trips around the world. The staff is very nice and there for you, only 3 rooms so it is very private. It is like you are in a small private world with the best view. The food was very good too. I couldnt find one bad thing to say.
