Free parking in a number of streets nearby. Breakfast was also nice, particularly the fresh orange juice. There was also lactose free milk and some cooked breakfast (eggs, bacon and sausages).

The property was clean, central to our destination, the Dark Sky Observatory. The Owner was happy and offered us superb advice regarding the visiting of Monseraz Castle. We went to that castle and the owners advice was spot on. It was a fantastic experience and a thumbs up and well deserved full marks for the property and owner. Beautifully appointed room with Large Shower and Bathroom. Annabelle welcomed us with a Warm Smile, Breakfast was good, again welcomed with a smile. The Communal outside seating area and swimmingpool was lovely too.

The pool place is beautiful, full of shadows which is really something important in Alentejo. The pool water was at 30 degrees and the temperature was close to 40 degrees. The house is full of vintage objects, like old telephones, and writing machines. I found myself searching for old treasures.
The bedroom was clean and spacious. The Bathroom was also great.
The property owner lives there, so you feel at home. Everything is well decorated. I felt I was visiting family.

I recommend going outside late night (around 1h30 -2 a.m. to see the sky. Is beautiful.

It is difficult to know what to write as a review when everything was such a perfect fit for us; the property location, rooms, hosts, breakfast/refreshments on offer and overall ambiance all superb. The many animals on site may not prove to everyone’s taste but it is their home, and for us they added a wonderful extra reason to enjoy our stay. Susana and Vasco are such hospitable and helpful hosts, yet not at all intrusive, so we felt truly at home from the first minute to the last - it was so hard to leave when the time came! Thank you, we will return for sure one day.

Beautiful spacious units in the countryside just outside Reguengos de Monsaraz with wide views. Clean, tasteful, nice toiletries. Private outdoor seating each unit. Host was welcoming, offered excellent breakfast in shared dining room including wonderful fresh orange juice. Not warm enough yet to use the pool but set in lovely garden with sun loungers. Great advice on local region attractions and restaurants. Private parking provided. Highly recommend.
