We loved everything about Casa Da Eira Longa. Our hostess made us feel right at home as soon as we arrived and her warm hospitality continued throughout our stay. She went far beyond what was necessary, providing extra fruit, pastries and juices so we could picnic while out hiking. She gave us great advice on places to visit and restaurants in the area. We shared warm conversations. The grounds and rooms are great examples of traditional Portuguese fine craftsmanship, full of rich wood and stone and decorated with lovely plants and flowers.

Our family loved our warm clean cottage. Owners made our stay extra special with a jeep tour, hike to waterfalls & wakeboarding. We loved the peaceful view of the lake, so many facilities on-site & fresh mountain air! Highly recommend, guest house has perfect “into the wild” ambiance - we will be back for sure. For travelers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms might be shared by other guests, and there's usually shared space with the host.
Arrived super early but room was ready so let me check in. Off road parking within the grounds for motorbike and able to park at rear out of sight although it’s a quiet place, beautiful views, good breakfast and room was very spacious clean and comfortable. Staff were helpful. Nearest super market was around 11km away. Petrol station just up the road and there’s a restaurant around 1.5k or so up the road that does lunch and evening meals.
Great location a few minutes drive from the city center (per Google, about 20 minute walk). Free private parking on sight. Quiet neighborhood. Well heated rooms, comfortable bed and pillows, slept well. Hot water and nice water pressure in shower. Friendly and helpful hostess recommended a nice restaurant in town for dinner. Highly recommend, would stay again.
