Beautiful renovated house, full of history! Related to the Botanical garden of Ponta Delgada, which is right next door.
The rooms were very comfortable and cozy. Staff was friendly and helpful. We spent New years and the views to the bay and fireworks was unbeatable!

This house is darling! The house itself is both historic and fascinating - an oasis in the city centre. The rooms are comfy and modern.
The breakfast was very good. And the hostess went above and beyond to make us feel welcome.

The main Casa de Pateo house was unavailable due to some unforeseen work but they put us in one of their other properties Casa Portguesa very close by and the communication and the new hotel were perfect.
For travellers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms may be shared by other guests, and there is often shared space with the host.
We had beautiful stay. Room was quiet, very well equipped, clean with so comfortable beds! Stuff was nice, helpful and always ready to give us some advice. Thank you so much!
This was a 10/10 points apartment right in the city centre of Lagoa. Around were shops, snack bars, bakery, the area was not loud. Apartment was very nicely renovated, everything was comfortable and clean. Lot of place. :) Compared with other accommodations in Sao Miguel island, this was really the best!
Room door leading directly to the pool and garden and our little table on a terrace ♥️ During the afternoon we had the pool just for ourselves, it was best relax. Couldnt have pick better for our last days on Sao Miguel. Price was higher for us but worth it! We also did get private bathroom although in reservation it was written shared. Much appreciated. We made use of the living room too.
Was lovely big house, well equipped. Pool area was very quiet, hot tub took a couple of days to heat up, but was really nice when it did.
Had arrival basket of bread, jam, milk, biscuits, coffee and tea.
There was a washing machine to use complete with liquid to help ourselves to.
Had a private bathroom, although I had to walk past 2 bathrooms and upstairs to access mine, so allocation of bathrooms could have been better.
Everything about this hotel was amazing. It's quaint, quiet, located right along the sea and was an overall relaxing experience. The staff was amazing, the food in the restaurant great, and the room was very comfortable. Plenty of free parking if you have a car. Try the hottub overlooking the ocean! If you're going to stay on Saint Miguel, this is the place you should stay.
Quiet and secluded, very private. A superb house with everything needed for a great stay. We were both super happy with our choice. Good location as a base as everything on the island is only a few minutes away by car from CaLoura.

Due to bad weather we did not use the outdoor pool, terrace and barbecue. We were on the island for five days but we did not use the accommodation enough. There was too much research around the island.
