What is exceptional about this guest house is the host. Elizabeth is very present, her guest house is comfortable, welcoming and minutes from the sea. This is my favorite guest house I stayed at on the El Camino. Elizabeth is younger than me but so wise and she felt like my guide on the El Camino. Not only on my solo hiking journey but as a wise woman teacher as well. I am so thankful that I began my El Camino at Smiling Places with Elizabeth.

This place is a Pilgrim Albergue on the Portuguese Coastal/Litoral route. Very welcoming, clean. I arrived a little late, so did not experience kitchen services.

Right off the beach on the coastal Camino, this was extremely convenient to get to. The bed was great. A kitchen was available to us and made a self made dinner easy to create.

Room is so clean, fantastic rain shower, and bathroom is surprisingly large. On a busy street but it super quiet, groceries (Auchan) is a couple blocks away, coffee shops nearby, and easy walk back to the oceanfront. Highlight is the attached restaurant, high quality, home made food!

Close to airport, excellent swimming pool, though opens a bit late (10am) for early morning refreshment. Close to Porto, there is a subway (more like train) station in few minutes walk.
For travelers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms might be shared by other guests, and there's usually shared space with the host.
Amazing guest house along the Camino route. The free breakfast was pretty good and its included in the price. I really enjoyed the private rooms because it allowed me to get some much needed rest.
Wonderful hospitality from being offered a drink at check in to receiving fresh fruit by the pool. Received assistance with laundry also. Superb breakfast.
The owner of the place was very friendly and helpful attending to all our needs from a cup of coffee to helping us doing our laundry. The room was beautiful and comfortable with good quality linen and towels. We had an excellent breakfast prepared early in the morning before starting our 2nd day on the Camino Portuguese Coastal Route.
Lovely property - very clean, comfortable beds and great host. Great location when doing the Camino. Fantastic breakfast.
