The staff were very helpful and provided a locked garage for our motorcycle. Breakfast was very good with plenty of choice. The restaurant accross the road was closed at night during our visit but another small restaurant a short walk was open.

The highlight of my stay was undoubtedly the dinner. It was truly exceptional, surpassing the quality of many home-cooked meals. The veal was incredibly soft and tasty, with flavors that were perfectly balanced and delightful. This was a lovely place to stay, the room was amazing as was the pool and surrounding areas. Breakfast was very nice indeed and the staff were friendly. Room bigger than average and very well decorated.

A beautiful step back in time! A welcoming and helpful team. We loved the view from our third floor room and enjoyed the evening sights and sounds on the terrace. Private parking, WiFi, and a lift (tick, tick & tick). The continental breakfast was generous and delicious.
Some have said the hotel is dated. I think it fits with the town, letting you feel transported back in time. The hotel was clean and comfortable, and the location was perfect!

Fantastic location - wonderfully quiet and relaxing. Staff were super friendly and helpful (especially Joao) throughout our stay. Rooms were clean, tastefully decorated and with great views across the farm. We ate in the hotel every evening and found the food to be tasty, well presented and good value. Wines were great too ;).
this hotel is very charming, super clean, modern meets rustic and nestled in a cute vineyard near Gouveia with fruit trees and olive trees. the yard it has a stable with horses, many birds all around and a (lot of) shelter for abandoned dogs (safely behind fences). indoors you will find 2 charming cats that want to cuddle and super friendly staff. the hotel has their own wines, jams, olive oil and locally produced cheeses. the restaurant is very nice and we really advise to take a few Madre De Aqua wines home!
