The friendly staff, great location and facilities. It was my first time in a shared room and although you can't choose roommates I enjoyed my stay. Multiple bathrooms, great kitchen and easy access to the hostel.
Hostel is right next to the market and a 5min walk from the nearest beach and city center, no better place.
a lovely stay in an excellent old building, with perfectly clean shared bathrooms and a very comfortable bedroom. we booked a private room and had a comfy double bed and an airy bright room. the neighbourhood is lively but the building faces a street that is quiet at night, a perfect combination; lots of excellent restaurants and bars, and of course the beach in walking distance. our host was extremely kind and helpful. if we return to figueira, we will definitely stay here again.
The location within Buarcos is perfect; easy to walk everywhere, and to get a car parking near by. The apartment on the 2nd floor had a small private terrace with sea view. The area was quiet, and the apartment had everything you could possibly need.
The decor of the property is charming. The private patio, with available barbecue facilities, is spacious and wonderful for eating outside. Large soft bath towels, and extra towels were made available to us for beach use. The hostess is very friendly and helpful.
Having a washing machine and dishwasher was really nice. The area is quiet, a 10 minute walk to the fresh produce market.
It was a comfy and charming place, in an excellent location, very close to the beach and the city center. Excellent breakfast. The staff were very nice and welcoming
An opportunity to stay in a charming, traditional building in a great location. I walked from the train station. Bright and homely. Private bathrooms. Slept very well. Great cafe (Skippers) and tapas bar across the road. Many other restaurants nearby. Super value for money.
