Excellent place, very well run. The sunset on the terrace after a day of discovering the city or the island is priceless. Our host was present but discreet, with a lot of small attentions and good advice. Absolutely perfect and better than anticipated for the price. Go without a doubt if you are lucky and the room is available.

Fabulous little home in the hills, off the beaten track. The terrace has lovely views in the evening and it’s everything you need for a private, comfy stay. The hosts were so friendly and accommodating. We stayed for two nights and it was a great base from which to explore Madeira’s central hikes.

I was able to check in early and due to my quick turnaround, I needed my laundry done by midday the next day. The staff were super friendly and the laundry was done and in my room that night, amazing! Very easy process, comfortable room and brilliant location, would recommend!

Good hotel for its price, great location and the view from the rooms, there are swimming pool and sauna, which is a good addition, the territory is green, the cleaning was every day.
I found this to be a very charming and unique accommodation! All the rooms have an ocean view and are decent in size. The weather wasn't great during our stay, but otherwise the pool area would have been a vibe. There is also a big garden area that was nice to walk around, even if rather unkempt. I found the reception staff exceptionally friendly and helpful :) There is a big supermarket just across the street and several good restaurant options nearby. We could only imagine this place in its former glory!
Very quiet, in woodland with own extensive gardens. Impeccably clean, balcony overlooking trees, pool, sauna, amazing fresh breakfast in beautiful restaurant.
Breakfast was exceptional, always freshly made eggs, bacon, selection of cheeses and hams, vegetables, selection of fruits, cereals, sweets.
