Very clean room and excellent view from the balcony. Definitely worth the steep road you need to drive to reach the location. Orchidea was very helpful and the breakfast she prepared was amazing!

The place pleasantly surprised us! The room was clean and the bed super comfy. We added on the breakfast which was delicious and great value!

The staff were amazing and everything was dome with such care. A beautiful place, not busy, great scenery, a lovely restaurant and our room was lovely too. Staff super helpful, would recommend to anyone wanting a very quiet chill away from the noise of it all!
The Location is a dream - in the midst of the vineyards and in the heart of the Douro region. Quiet and remote. It has a beautiful pool in a garden and a fridge full of amazing wines from the estate Churchills. The team is wonderful and very considerate.
This is an absolutely superb spot overlooking the Douro! It is perfectly secluded and quiet. The host looked after us very well and made us feel welcome and at home. We highly recommend this destination.
The views from every room over the Douro Valley are spectacular, makes you want to just curl up in a chair and sit and stare at it.
Excellent breakfast - lots of fresh fruits, yogurt, meat, cheese, bread to choose from and delicious hot coffee.
Maarten is a generous and engaging host and happy to share his insights on wines and winemaking. He makes the stay in the Valley so much more interesting.

A lovely place to stay, we had 2 nights and explored the interesting nearby towns and a trip to the coast. We were recommended 2 nearby restaurants, which served good authentic food. The garden and pool was quiet and private. Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful hotel with character and laid back atmosphere. Cosy yet luxury modern rooms (we had one near the pool), excellent breakfast, lunch and dinner. Breathtaking views over the Douro river and vineyards. Excellent young staff.
