Clean and comfortable family run rural accommodation. We had an attractive room overlooking the lovely garden with the sierras in the background. All the family that we met were friendly and helpful, spoke good English and had extensive knowledge of the local region. There is a large on-site car park.

I loved everything! It’s not the first time that we stay in this accommodation and we are always well received. Ester is a great hostess, very friendly and nice and tries to accommodate you the best she can. The room was nice and the decor was modern with a bit of tradition, it’s was great. Everything was spot clean and smelling very nice. The breakfast was amazing with homemade and local products. The location is amazing because you can park right outside and you can walk pretty much everywhere (to the castle, to the spa, to the restaurants, the city garden).

It was a real pleasure to stay here, and after just one day, I felt like one of the family! I tried in portuguese to say there was no hot water but, by their reaction, I thought I'd got it wrong and said something like the bed was on fire! Needless to say, the minor problem was immediately sorted.
The room was fantastic, modern and clean. I can not understand why other people have not given it 5*****.

Beautiful mansion, tastefully decorated, nice porch and garden with pool. We had the whole house to ourselves. The owner allowed us to use the kitchen so we could fix us some dinner. Breakfast was excellent.

We need a quick one night stay. The place was close to where we needed to be. The breakfast that the owner made was exceptional. The owners were very nice! we were looking to watch the soccer game and since there was no cable in out part of the house, he offered to come and watch it with his family in their living room.

Location was great, house as well layer out. The kitchen and living room were lovely spacious areas, that were great for families.

This is one of the loveliest hotels we've ever stayed in. It has so much character. The antique furniture in our part of the hotel was beautiful. The room we stayed in was spacious and spotlessly clean. Loved the bath and/or shower option. The staff, without exception, were charming and helpful. Breakfasts were a treat and qualty of food was so good. Pool was great and had nice snack bar.
We we touring on a motorcycle. Plenty of private parking space available. 500 metre walk into Chavres centre. No refreshments available at the hotel but cheap cafe bar 50m away.
Modern, stylish and well maintained building and facilities. In the city centre, surrounded by restaurants and small shops, but not too much hassle. Unbelievably quiet indoors, this hotel has the perfect combination of both city location and quiet rooms.

Is clean. Ideal place to stay and visit Chaves. If you plan to make vacation in a hotel is not a ideal place.
Great location on a farm/mata. Louis was great host, showing us his farm and the area history. I loved the house and our large room. Great being a small 5min drive from Chaves.
