Very cute location in the country down a narrow road and a tricky entrance. Home was very clean and well thought out. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again. Rain forced us to close the doors. Would have enjoyed having a glass of wine with the doors open allowing nature in. Perfect for 3 people. Owner was kind enough to loan us a deck of cards.

This property was above all expectations. The staff is kind and friendly, it’s small ( I think 6-8 rooms) so not overcrowded. They prepare meals on site. It was absolutely charming and the « slow life » needed for this holiday! Highly recommend! 5 *****

The breakfast arrived precisely on time, and was delicious! So many options of pastries, spreads, and fruit, with delicious freshly squeezed orange juice. The breads and pastries arrived warm, as well as a hot pot of coffee and hot milk for cocoa. It was perfect!

We stayed at Paco de Pombeiro for one night during our trip from Braga to Douro valley.
The place is really calm, relaxing, and has everything you need for a shorter stay. There is a pool, plenty of parking and beatiful views on the surronding wineries.
We had great breakfast, and were pleasntly suprised by the hospitality of the owners (Ingrid and Marcus) that were really responsive and attentive to every our request.
We’ll definetelly stay there again if we’re in area!

Our favorite place to stay on our three week trip to Portugal. Beautiful setting and beautiful facility. There was a terrace and living room available for our relaxation. The infinity pool was beautiful and wonderful for a soak and a swim. The breakfasts were awesome with fresh cooked scrambled eggs and more than enough options to eat. The woman who prepared breakfast was super helpful even tho she didn’t speak English. We used our google translators effectively! Also there is a restaurant just down the road for other meals.
For travelers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms might be shared by other guests, and there's usually shared space with the host.
Our hotel room was spacious, quiet, private, with stunning views!
The staff was welcoming and very helpful.
We booked massage treatments in the spa which were great and we really enjoyed the wine tasting session.
The pool bar was lovely and the food there was very good.
Beautiful old style house and very quiet. Large garden with big fountain. Dona Luiza is the perfect host, charming and warm-hearted. Excellent breakfast served an a welcome drink (wine) with cheese and home made Marmelade.
Great location on the Main Street. Really well decorated and maintained, beautiful room and bathroom, private balcony. Great breakfast over the road at the cafe. Easy check in and good communication via WhatsApp.
The house was spacious, well set out, very well appointed with excellent bathrooms and a well equipped kitchen. The house retained some features of the original property. It was set in a quiet area with nice views of the local village and hills from the terrace. The owner, Miguel, was charming, welcoming and extremely helpful with recommendations of the local area. Amarante was a 15 minute drive away, and had plenty of shops, restaurants and places to visit. We would highly recommend this property and would definitely stay there again.
Great location on a touristy part of town, but still quiet because the street has no traffic anymore. Great spot. The gardens are really nice and agreeable. A good place to spend a couple of days in the heart of town. The lodging was great and with lots of character. Breakfast was ok.
Character building Great location for the town. A warm welcome. Private parking. Drinks available from kitchen all day. Lots of areas around the grounds to sit and relax
Charming hotel with impeccable decor and an excellent breakfast. Very friendly staff. Excellent location.
Perfect room with a beautiful balcony and direct access to the pool.
The comfort of the mattress and sheets. The charm of the bathroom.
Great location in the middle of the vinneyard. The reception welcomes with a glass of local sparkling wine. Good service and excellent breakfast. Restaurant has very delicious food. Wine tasting was good as well. There's SPA, which is not huge but enough to chill in the sauna and heated pool.
We loved the large, quiet, private rooms, all with a view. We looked out to a vineyard. The design of the hotel is very well done and in keeping with the environment. We also enjoyed the central bar and restaurant area a 5 minute walk from the rooms. And we especially enjoyed the wine tasting with Renata.
