What is a pleasant surprise to find this small rural B&B! Very quiet and peaceful location, comfortable bed, traditional Portuguese casa layout. We loved common room with chairs and fireplace. Peter, our host, made us feel welcomed and well cared. Breakfast was exquisite with homemade jams, honey, yogurt with granola and fruits, etc.
Mosteiro's River Beach is only 5 min drive and it was really nice to swim on hot day.
Keep in mind it is a small village, no restaurants or nightlife but we consider it as advantage. I hope more people will discover this place and stay with Peter and Lineke

I checked into my room and walked out onto the balcony, and into peace. It looked out onto green fields, with hills and slowly turning windmills in the distance, and the only sound was the soft clank-clank of the bells on the sheep as they wandered in the field below. This was a wonderfully peaceful place to stay. The restaurant had delicious food and the breakfast was good too. The little town where it's located has the most picturesque chapel I've ever seen.
