For travellers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms may be shared by other guests, and there is often shared space with the host.
Kiermusy Dworek was exactly what you want from a country hotel; beautifully decorated, quiet and friendly. It isn't modern or luxurious but that's not important. It has a wonderful atmosphere. Breakfast was excellent and the location, just outside the delightful town of Tykocin couldn't have been better.
We were met at the door by two friendly dogs, a cat and the owner. Our room was ready and we settled in with beautiful antiques inside; and on a comfortable couch on the back porch with afternoon drinks and snacks. Very pleasant afternoon and early evening reading outside and then Super quiet room for sleeping!! Breakfast was vegetarian and fantastic with so many delicious choices. We would both highly recommend this place to family and/or friends and will return if ever in the area.
