Unfortunately we only planned 2 nights, but we could have easily stayed longer.
Snorkeling right in front of the accommodation is great, in the coral garden (unfortunately only with a guide) or alone with the turtles!
We had a room with a small terrace (great) and a smaller room in the middle of the garden (unfortunately without seating outside)
The staff was very friendly (helped us with organizing our boattrip) and the atmosphere on the small island is generally very pleasant! Be sure to take a walk and buy some bread rolls at the bakery!
Breakfast and food were OK, a little more expensive - but you're on a small island!
The neighbor's videoke wasn't too loud. The day tourist from Panglao/Bohol are not really disturbing the ambience.

We had the most wonderful stay at Vidas, a truly beautiful escape, the hotel is self is boutique with only four rooms so it never felt over crowded, we often had the amazing pool with spectacular views to ourselves!
The family who runs this place are so so nice, couldn’t have helped us more with renting a scooter, booking taxis, making us breakfast etc and they kindly invited us along to a fiesta evening! What fantastic hosts and what a fantastic few days of rest and relaxation! Book here if you want the best views! Rooms are big with outdoor space, cold AC and hot showers.

We love how accommodating the landlord/landlady. The location is very convenient. Near at tagbilaran port, malls, and other tourist spots (walking distance or just take rela). Will definitely recommend this guest house to others. Worth the price.

Friendly dogs around so take a dog food with you. On Bohol you can buy it at 7 Eleven. Here on the Island there is no chance to buy it.

The lady who checked us in was so lovely. We had good chats while eating dinner and she offered us bananas to try. It was nice to be able to sit at the dining table to eat. Lovely chilled water and boiling water available which we really appreciated.
Air con worked great and the bed was comfy.So quiet so we got a really good night's sleep. We also had a fan in the room.
Internet was great. I really appreciated the face cloth as well as the towel.

If I could recommend somewhere to stay in Bohol, it's definitely here! Especially so if you want to escape the city and just be in a quiet environment with nature.
It was in a great location in relation to the chocolate hills, tarsier, etc., but also close enough.
Diane was incredibly kind and understanding even before we arrived. The apartment itself was immaculate, fully equipped with everything we needed (and more), and the views couldn't be beaten.
Elvira and her staff are absolutely wonderful, helping with transport and suggesting the nicest lunch and diner options. the private beach is quiet, which cannot be said of the neighbours place where boats and people come and go all day.
