For travellers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms may be shared by other guests, and there is often shared space with the host.
A special little spot right on the river. Quiet. Calm. Spotlessly clean and excellently maintained cabins. The family are adorable! They cannot do enough for you to make your stay easy and pleasant (but they also give you your privacy). We unfortunately were there during a cold spell but they gave us extra blankets (unexpected for the rainforest!). A sweet housecat to pet too.
I had a lovely stay with these guys. Helpful staff, not to be taken for granted. And as a solo traveller (which in Puerto Maldonado doesn't seem very common), its a nice balance between quiet time and having a few people to chat to and its not completely in the middle of nowhere, but has a lovely garden and nice birds around (and a canopy walk). Breakfast is an omelette, juice, fried banana (nice) and bread/jam. Simple but does the job, and $10usd which isnt bad (compared to other places). I would go back
Absolutely wonderful setting, right in the middle of the jungle by the river bursting with wildlife and monkeys and parrots!! Beautiful place, suitably relaxing and charming with a great Amazon feel.
Nice hotel with comfy and spacious rooms. Daily included breakfast was a great bonus. Great location, within walking distance to the city centre. A few supermarkets are within a 2 min walk from the hotel.
The hostel is clean, comfortable and cheap, only a couple blocks away from plaza de armas. We booked a room with shared bathroom and the host gave us a one with private bathroom for the same price since there was availability. There's a nice terrace with hammoks, a large common area with a kitchen and the swimming pool.

Kenny and Ruth are so great Hosts. All the staff was pretty friendly and helpful. The Accommodation is awesome, great Location. A Spot for Relaxation and the Tours are great too.
